The FTC FY 2025 Data Book put Nevada third in the nation: 960 complaints per 100,000. Only Arizona and Tennessee were worse. Raw count: 30,159, up 27.7%. Las Vegas is a national robocall metro for the same reason it is a tourism metro — density, turnover, and phones that stay on.
Federal floor: TCPA $500 / $1,500.
Nevada layer:
- Nevada participates in the National DNC Registry and enforces deceptive-trade and telemarketing rules through the AG.
- No Florida-style private $500 mini-TCPA in force as the primary private ticker. The per-call private engine is the TCPA.
- Nevada’s variable is complaint intensity, not population. A small state with a top-three rate means the campaigns are concentrated.
What changed: No 2026 mini-TCPA. Nevada signed the 49-AG FCC letters.
Left on the table: 30,159 × $500 ≈ $15.1 million. × $1,500 ≈ $45.2 million.
