YouMail: 374,428,500 robocalls in 2025, 226,868,700 in 2026 YTD. 24,043 DNC complaints — 818 per 100,000, up 41.0%. The FTC Data Book has long ranked Kansas near the top in DNC registrations per capita. People here opted out. Volume did not.
Federal floor: TCPA $500 / $1,500.
Kansas layer:
- Kansas No-Call Act, K.S.A. § 50-670 et seq. State list plus federal list. AG enforces; consumers have a private path for actual damages.
- Public penalties commonly cited at $10,000 per violation and $20,000 if willful.
- No Florida-style private $500 ticker on the state act. Stack TCPA for the per-call statutory count.
What changed: No 2026 mini-TCPA. Kansas was on YouMail’s November 2025 “biggest risers” list (+9% month over month). That is a campaign, not a glitch.
Left on the table: 24,043 × $500 ≈ $12.0 million. × $1,500 ≈ $36.1 million.

This is a Q3 2026 TeleJustice Academy quarterly law update. Figures: YouMail Robocall Index (estimated volume); 2025 DNC complaint counts and per-capita rates from the FTC Data Book cycle. “Money left on the table” is complaint count × TCPA statutory minimums — an illustration, not a prediction. Robocall indexes include legal recorded calls. Only documented illegal calls and texts support a claim. Educational only. Not legal advice. TeleJustice Academy is not a law firm.
