YouMail: 164,924,300 robocalls in 2025, 108,657,200 in 2026 YTD. 11,183 DNC complaints — 591 per 100,000, up 15.2%.
Federal floor: TCPA $500 / $1,500.
Idaho layer:
- Telephone Solicitation Act, Idaho Code § 48-1001 et seq. Registration, caller-ID rules, and a state no-call framework on top of the federal list.
- Idaho Consumer Protection Act, § 48-608. A buyer who suffers an ascertainable loss may recover actual damages or $1,000, whichever is greater. Class actions exist with damage limits. No pre-suit notice required.
What changed: No 2026 mini-TCPA rewrite. Idaho signed the multistate FCC carrier comments. The private path that actually prints a number per call is still the federal TCPA; use the $1,000 ICPA floor when the sale itself was deceptive.
Left on the table: 11,183 × $500 ≈ $5.6 million. × $1,500 ≈ $16.8 million.

This is a Q3 2026 TeleJustice Academy quarterly law update. Figures: YouMail Robocall Index (estimated volume); 2025 DNC complaint counts and per-capita rates from the FTC Data Book cycle. “Money left on the table” is complaint count × TCPA statutory minimums — an illustration, not a prediction. Robocall indexes include legal recorded calls. Only documented illegal calls and texts support a claim. Educational only. Not legal advice. TeleJustice Academy is not a law firm.
