Alabama residents faced an estimated 1.497 billion robocalls in 2025, according to the YouMail Robocall Index — the highest annual total in the state’s recorded history on the index. That volume far exceeded 2024’s 1.26 billion and earlier years. Early 2026 data already shows tens of millions more calls arriving each month. Alabama consistently ranks among the hardest-hit states for both total volume and per-person exposure, driven by aggressive telemarketing and scam campaigns.
